After a defensive mix-up in Ñacanguazú AFC's zone, Fernan Ihintza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Ereinotz came out of the goal and Fernan Ihintza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alejo Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Luar struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Delmar Ereinotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Domselaar AFC. 17 minutes into the match, Ñacanguazú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Ihintza came free, but Delmar Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Ihintza might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Ereinotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Ihintza ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Montae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Haritzeder's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Domselaar AFC's Isidoro Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Haritzeder in the 23rd minute of play. Erubiel Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Isidoro Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Domselaar AFC's Edelmiro Txeru got a free kick in the 28th minute. Isidoro Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Caitano in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Domselaar AFC's goalkeeper Isidoro Montae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Leon Haritzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ñacanguazú AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Haritzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Haritzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Domselaar AFC defense, Erubiel Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Montae. The Domselaar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Montae should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Erubiel Caitano made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Montae. Domselaar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Domselaar AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ñacanguazú AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Haritzeder to make the kick off. Leon Haritzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Caitano struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Isidoro Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñacanguazú AFC. In the 57th minute Leon Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Montae having to interfere. Fernan Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ñacanguazú AFC's Donato Oskarbi got a free kick in the 71st minute. Alejo Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Delmar Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Erubiel Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erubiel Caitano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ñacanguazú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Caitano couldn't finish the play. The Ñacanguazú AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ñacanguazú AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
