Artemio Gaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Placido Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maquinchao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Gaur in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ur notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maquinchao's Jeremias Piarres. Jeremias Piarres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Piarres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Ur in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Maquinchao's David Laurin got a free kick in the 28th minute. Capillas AFC's Froilan Abancens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jeremias Piarres but with some difficulty. Eloy Bilbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Placido Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maquinchao's Placido Transito got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eloy Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Gaur to make the kick off. Cleto Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Ur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Piarres having to make a save. After having played for 60 minutes, Placido Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maquinchao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Transito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Transito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Bilbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Maquinchao's Artemio Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Transito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Eloy Bilbo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 72 played minutes, Capillas AFC's Severo Bitxintxo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeremias Piarres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capillas AFC reached it. After a rather tough play, Maquinchao's Oscar Bikendi got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maquinchao! The referee gave Capillas AFC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Froilan Abancens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maquinchao's Jeremias Piarres. 2-0. Alfonso Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ruben Gutxi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capillas AFC's protests and gave Ruben Gutxi a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Capillas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Gutxi.
