Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Barrancas booed when Olavarría FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Niva having to interfere. Eugenio Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Mambru in the 10th minute of play forced Olavarría FC's goalkeeper Oscar Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Niva having to interfere. If Eulalio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Olavarría FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Abilio. When Carmelo Jerrald fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olavarría FC's protests and gave Carmelo Jerrald a yellow card for diving instead. Carmelo Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Olavarría FC's goalkeeper Oscar Niva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Dacio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Mambru in the 35th minute of play forced Olavarría FC's goalkeeper Oscar Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olavarría FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carmelo Liberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrancas's players had a chance to rest. Damian Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Damian Mambru made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Eugenio Abajas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Olavarría FC's Oscar Niva. Oscar Niva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Leonel Inguma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Liberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Niva having to make a save. Eulalio Misael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Lino Chuan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezequiel Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lino Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eulalio Misael charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Misael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Abajas in the 71st minute of play. If Eugenio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lino Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Licerio in the 85th minute of play. Edgard Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lino Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Ezequiel Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Chuan came out of the goal and Ezequiel Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olavarría FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrancas.
