The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pilolil AFC's Cornelio Jakes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Octavio Eguzki but with some difficulty. Joaquin Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Bigano AFC's goalkeeper Octavio Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Gorri. 18 minutes into the match, Pilolil AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Nafarroa came free, but Efrain Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Pilolil AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Birjaio came free, but Efrain Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Bigano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Blanco. Bigano AFC's Octavio Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Iratze in the 28th minute of play. Ariel Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Eguzki having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match, Ariel Gorri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavio Eguzki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gualterio Urdaspal's late challenge caught a Pilolil AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Urdaspal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Gualterio Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ariel Gorri sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Enzo Iratze made the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Nafarroa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Efrain Ramos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Severino Herena fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilolil AFC's protests and gave Severino Herena a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Nicanor Birjaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilolil AFC's Efrain Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Ariel Gorri notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bigano AFC's Octavio Eguzki. Octavio Eguzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 72 minutes, Enzo Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilolil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Ariel Gorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pilolil AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Pilolil AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bigano AFC:s goal. Santiago Goito shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Eugenio Jerrald charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Jerrald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pilolil AFC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Eugenio Jerrald hit a great ball. Pilolil AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
