Anselmo Chucho scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Henrico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Henrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriana Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th match minute, Misión FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Oto to maneuver through the defense. Aquiles Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Misión FC's Froilan Jerrold got a free kick in the 30th minute. Carlos Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Rosio in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Erroman during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Misión FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Orlando Daunte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Severino Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misión FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Oto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Chucho was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Lucas Porfiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Misión FC and the Tablillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Erroman in the 54th minute of play forced Misión FC's goalkeeper Carlos Henrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Geronimo Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Misión FC's zone, Edgard Lobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Henrico came out of the goal and Edgard Lobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Aquiles Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tablillas! The referee gave Misión FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armando Lordi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tablillas's Aquiles Bernard. 1-1. In the 77th match minute, Misión FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Henrico made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Adriana Rosio sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Adriana Rosio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Henrico was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Anselmo Chucho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Chucho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Severino Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tablillas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
