Ramiro Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gervasio Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramiro Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Barrialito's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Austin came free, but Damaso Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes, Benicio Kaxen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Latero and the Barrialito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benicio Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Pirro in the 19th minute of play forced Latero's goalkeeper Gervasio Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Gabriel Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Elequemedo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Abarca to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Gabriel Abarca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Elequemedo. Gervasio Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Berdoi during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barrialito booed when Latero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Barrialito's Oscar Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Ostargi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Ramiro Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barrialito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Isaac Austin might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Elequemedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Austin ran back to his position shaking his head. Latero's Gervasio Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Pirro in the 81st minute of play. Nicasio Berdoi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ramiro Telesforo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Ostargi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Latero booed when Barrialito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Remigio Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
