Rogelio Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aureliano Ugutz fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Transito AFC's protests and gave Aureliano Ugutz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Transito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Canaleja FC's Pascual Hanni tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Antonio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Azibar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Elija went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Azibar made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Antonio Elija sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Eudoxio in the 21st minute of play forced Canaleja FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, David Opilano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canaleja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Transito AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Canaleja FC's David Opilano got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hermengildo Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Transito AFC's Antonio Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Transito AFC from getting a goal against them. Canaleja FC's Rogelio Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Benet in the 38th minute of play. Rogelio Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Canaleja FC's zone, Robustiano Benet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Nevada came out of the goal and Robustiano Benet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Segundo Eudoxio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Transito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Eudoxio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Elija was the one to do the kick off. If Segundo Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canaleja FC's Rogelio Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Canaleja FC from getting a goal against them. After 63 played minutes Canaleja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Abastas. 64 minutes into the match, Fernan Asteri sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Rogelio Nevada threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Fernan Asteri this time. In the 66th match minute, Transito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Asteri to maneuver through the defense. Canaleja FC's Rogelio Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Eudoxio in the 69th minute of play. Jorge Jeraldo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Antonio Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Benet in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Nevada saved Canaleja FC from getting behind. Rogelio Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Eudoxio in the 92nd minute of the match. 1-3 became the score in the 96th minute when Segundo Eudoxio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Transito AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
