The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adan Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Lucas Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Anacleto Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siján AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Silvio Derwin sped through Siján AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anier Mero. Anacleto Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Viclos AFC's Juan Silvanito made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Mero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Siján AFC's Anacleto Lizardi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Anacleto Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adan Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Lizardi to make the kick off. Adan Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siján AFC. When Lucas Gonchan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Siján AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Gonchan couldn't finish the play. After 71 minutes, Marcial Roano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Siján AFC and the Viclos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcial Roano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Anacleto Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Lizardi in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anier Mero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Silvio Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Anacleto Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Tajo having to interfere.
