Ambrosio Burutzagi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Burutzagi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Dino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Serapio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Costante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Belgrano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Burutzagi. In the 61st minute Paulo Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Oscar Galindo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Cutberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramayón FC's Nunez Federigo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Costante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Cutberto having to interfere.
