In the 8th minute of the match Hector Claude sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustaquio Gelacio skillfully saved the ball. Melchor Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Gelacio having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Guaraní FC's Melchor Dolfos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Gelacio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Melchor Dolfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Gelacio was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Teodoro Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Domiku having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Cedro in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Gelacio saved Capioviciño from getting behind. Evelio Cedro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Cedro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ismael Quilo from a close distance when the talented Herminio Domiku managed to make a qualified save. Guaraní FC's players were relieved. Leandro Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Melchor Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaraní FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melchor Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Herminio Domiku made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Hermelando was the one to do the kick off. Eustaquio Gelacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Cedro in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Capioviciño's Gustavo Ixaka got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 65th match minute, Capioviciño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Capioviciño got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ixaka. Eustaquio Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Dolfos in the 71st minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Teodoro Hermelando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraní FC's Herminio Domiku was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Capioviciño's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Melchor Dolfos 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The supporters of Guaraní FC booed when Capioviciño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eustaquio Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capioviciño's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Claude was slow to take the kick. During this time Guaraní FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Guaraní FC's Leandro Cidro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match was over Guaraní FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capioviciño throughout the match.
