In the 9th minute, Aaron Txurio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Igor Cordairo, passed just outside the right post. 14 minutes into the game, Jonas Lizer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Cordairo. Jonas Lizer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ildefonso Gaztea's late challenge caught a Taquimilán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Gaztea helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Pueblito FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Gaztea. Igor Cordairo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Lizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Gilberto Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ildefonso Gaztea got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 38 minutes into the match, Pueblito FC's goalkeeper Igor Cordairo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Libertad. The supporters of Pueblito FC booed when Taquimilán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pueblito FC's Arnaldo Feo tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonas Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Cordairo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Lizer to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lizer in the 52nd minute of play forced Pueblito FC's goalkeeper Igor Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Lizer struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Igor Cordairo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquimilán. Igor Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Lazcanos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Dionisio Rodas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute, Clemente Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
