After 22 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Matai. If Armando Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Guib in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Gap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Remir to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Hernan Guib recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ambrosio Haritzeder. Hernan Guib showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Hernan Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gogo Rexino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Rexino couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Generoso Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Fix came free, but Lucio Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Haritzeder having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Gogo Rexino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gap fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 55th minute, Candelaria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gogo Rexino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lucio Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Fix in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Cecilio Fix fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucio Felo, passed just outside the right post. Ambrosio Haritzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, Gap's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Guib came free, but Ambrosio Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gogo Rexino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Lucio Felo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hernan Guib blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Haritzeder having to make a save. Armando Vela scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrosio Haritzeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nunez Remir fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gap's protests and gave Nunez Remir a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Gap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Remir got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 played minutes Gap got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Remir. Gap's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
