Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anibal Esdras took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Carmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Gaufred acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Domingos Jon. With a little luck, Carmen FC's Wilfredo Gaufred got control of the ball when Albino Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albino Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Bermudo couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Gaufred was a little too slow when Ermegildo Ubelteso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Palmitas's Albino Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albino Bermudo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Wilfredo Gaufred didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. The supporters of Carmen FC booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Isaio, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 37th minute Anibal Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alvaro Cresconio hit a great ball. Eliseo Isaio, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Anibal Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmen FC's Gaspar Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermegildo Ubelteso was the one to do the kick off. 65 minutes into the game, Adrian Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. If Ermegildo Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ermegildo Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Gaufred having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Carmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Matthew. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Bermudo in the 75th minute of play forced Carmen FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmitas's Ermegildo Ubelteso got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Carmen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Palmitas's Nicasio Kinsen got control of the ball when Gaspar Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Albino Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Carmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Ubelteso came free, but Wilfredo Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 96 in the game by Gaspar Montes from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Kinsen managed to make a qualified save. Palmitas's players were relieved. Palmitas's Nicasio Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Palmitas from getting a goal against them. Palmitas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carmen FC for a fine match.
