Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Atamisqui AFC's Aquilino Peruanton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Catinzaco AFC's zone, Melchor Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Eztebe came out of the goal and Melchor Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atamisqui AFC's Freddy Medero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Atamisqui AFC from getting a goal against them. Freddy Medero was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Jeremias Laurentzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Laurentzi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Alberto Cidro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Atamisqui AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Cidro couldn't finish the play. Freddy Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Freddy Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Catinzaco AFC's Andres Elia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Catinzaco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Tajo came free, but Eduardo Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catinzaco AFC's zone, Melchor Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Eztebe came out of the goal and Melchor Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Laurentzi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Medero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 37 minutes, Andres Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catinzaco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Laurentzi to make the kick off. Atamisqui AFC's Freddy Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Laurentzi in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Alberto Cidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atamisqui AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catinzaco AFC the free kick. Uriel Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Catinzaco AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Melchor Tajo scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Eztebe, making the score, 1-1. In the 60th minute, Atamisqui AFC's Aquilino Peruanton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 64th minute, Aquilino Peruanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andres Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Medero having to interfere. In the 80th minute Jeremias Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Freddy Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Melchor Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catinzaco AFC's Eduardo Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Catinzaco AFC from getting a goal against them. Jeremias Laurentzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Medero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atamisqui AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
