Gervasio Lastur started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Victorio Chorache got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marcos Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio James having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Putrachoique AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Rio to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes of play, Paz's Marcos Quinto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio James was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, Paz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Paz to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Rafael Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio James saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gervasio Lastur struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Agustin Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putrachoique AFC.

51 minutes into the match, Putrachoique AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Paz came free, but Gervasio James reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paz's zone, Victorio Chorache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Venerando came out of the goal and Victorio Chorache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Lastur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gervasio Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Putrachoique AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Lastur couldn't finish the play. Lino Florin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Florin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Putrachoique AFC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Garin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paz's Agustin Venerando. 1-1.
