The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damian Cedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tomas Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Cedro having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Suncho's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Felipo came free, but Damian Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Pablo Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suncho's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Ramond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomas Felipo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Caldera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Felipo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Felipo in the 28th minute of play forced Suncho's goalkeeper Damian Cedro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Felipo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Cedro saved Suncho from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Oto got free with Damian Cedro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorato Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Cedro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Oto in the 35th minute. Jaime Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Nestor Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Egun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suncho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caldera the free kick. Nestor Oto came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damian Cedro could save by the left post. Natalio Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

56 minutes into the match, Suncho's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Oto came free, but Damian Cedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Suncho got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Filipo. In the 63rd minute of the match Abelardo Dabi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Cedro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Honorato Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Rubio in the 65th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Abelardo Dabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caldera and the Suncho players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Caldera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Suncho:s goal. Honorato Ramond had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Silvio Ikatz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Natalio Rubio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Ramond, 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caldera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Suncho a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvio Ikatz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caldera's Honorato Ramond. 0-2.
