After a defensive mix-up in Carrizalillo's zone, Amadeo Joachim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Garaona came out of the goal and Amadeo Joachim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Pabla having to interfere. Luciano Txomin might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Txomin ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nereo Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Pabla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nereo Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Luciano Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Mitxaut got free with Eliseo Garaona in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Pabla having to interfere. A collision led to Anchoris getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Silvano Loramendi hit a great ball. Alonzo Mitxaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eliseo Garaona made a huge save. Carrizalillo's Eliseo Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizalillo from getting a goal against them. If Luciano Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anchoris's Teofilo Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Rosario in the 45th minute of play. Amadeo Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Joachim to make the kick off. Eliseo Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Maju was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrizalillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anchoris the free kick. A collision led to Carrizalillo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Arnulfo Maju hit a great ball. Carrizalillo's Eliseo Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Mitxaut in the 54th minute of play. Eliseo Garaona came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Anchoris's Alonzo Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Alonzo Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 70 minutes into the game, Haroldo Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anchoris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrizalillo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Anchoris's Haroldo Ramos got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anchoris's zone, Nereo Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Pabla came out of the goal and Nereo Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Joachim in the 79th minute of play forced Carrizalillo's goalkeeper Eliseo Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Anchoris's Silvano Loramendi got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Luciano Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Rosario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Teofilo Pabla made a huge save. Alonzo Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Joachim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Garaona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Carrizalillo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
