A bit more spin and it would have been a certain goal. Rodrigo Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Progreso's Rodrigo Gelacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Progreso from getting a goal against them. With his leg Rodrigo Gelacio managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Pocoy's Freddy Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodrigo Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Rafel in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Freddy Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Jusepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Freddy Santos sent off a good shot on target. When Arturo Ostargi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progreso's protests and gave Arturo Ostargi a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Jusepe struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Teodosio Bortzaioriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progreso. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocoy's goalkeeper Teodosio Bortzaioriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Gelacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Rafel in the 38th minute of play. Pocoy's Teodosio Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Jusepe in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Delmiro Dolfos made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Progreso defense, Domingos Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Gelacio. The Progreso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Gelacio should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pocoy getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Omar Mateus hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Damian Jusepe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Pocoy's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Dolfos came free, but Teodosio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pocoy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
