Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Teodor came free, but Rodrigo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ubaldo Frederik sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Rey. A hard shot by Ubaldo Frederik from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Rodrigo Gelacio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Progreso. Raimundo Quinito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santo Normando. 0-1. Ubaldo Urki charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Urki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Progreso's Ubaldo Urki got a free kick in the 31st minute. Rodrigo Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Isaac Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antinaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Jusepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Normando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Cutberto got free with Rodrigo Gelacio in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Quinton came free, but Rodrigo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Eliseo Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Progreso were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmiro Dolfos to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Alfonso Teodor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rodrigo Gelacio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Teodor came free, but Rodrigo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Gelacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Cutberto went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Damian Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Normando having to interfere. Damian Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Santo Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Santo Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Jimeno Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Normando having to interfere. Pastor Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Antinaco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raimundo Quinito was slow to take the kick. During this time Progreso's players had a chance to rest. After 85 played minutes Antinaco got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Cutberto. When Raimundo Quinito came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Progreso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Quinito couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Santo Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Dolfos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Normando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Progreso's Damian Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Progreso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Antinaco.
