Suruipiana AFC's Fulgencio Guillerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Shepherd in the 4th minute of play. Javier Quirce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Raulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suruipiana AFC's Jaime Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabricio Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tadeo Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Popoy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Popoy FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jaime Ramone hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Suruipiana AFC's Angel Raulo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Quirce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Suruipiana AFC's Angel Raulo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Quirce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Shepherd in the 26th minute of play forced Suruipiana AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Tadeo Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Tadeo Fliz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Suruipiana AFC's Fulgencio Guillerme. Fulgencio Guillerme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Semeno charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Semeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Suruipiana AFC's Bruno Semeno got a free kick in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Suruipiana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Fliz came free, but Fulgencio Guillerme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Apolo Blasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Raulo to make the kick off. Jaime Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Javier Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Raulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Jaime Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Popoy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Fanuco came free, but Javier Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Txilar sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fulgencio Guillerme threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ciriaco Txilar this time. Bruno Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Popoy FC's Ciriaco Txilar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Angel Raulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Javier Quirce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Fliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fulgencio Guillerme made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Tadeo Fliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Guillerme was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Popoy FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
