Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Arano took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Tosquitas AFC's Fabricio Haimar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 6 minutes, Hugo Maura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gualeguaychú and the Tosquitas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hugo Maura hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tosquitas AFC's Fabricio Haimar tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Agustin Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Frichoso having to interfere. Ulises Dunixi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Maura to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Ulises Dunixi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gualeguaychú's Prospero Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardino Conrao made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gogo Arano sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Gogo Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Conrao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Anastasio Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualeguaychú's Prospero Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Dunixi in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Ulises Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Castulo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tosquitas AFC's Lucas Castulo got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Herminio Orti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Herminio Orti came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gualeguaychú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Orti couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tosquitas AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eustacio Lixandro hit a great ball.

Prospero Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Lando in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Celedonio Gartzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gualeguaychú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tosquitas AFC the free kick. Gogo Arano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Conrao having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Agustin Lando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Frichoso was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Herminio Orti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Gualeguaychú's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulises Dunixi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bernardino Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Gualeguaychú booed when Tosquitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Haimar during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Gualeguaychú a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Honorio Egoitz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tosquitas AFC's Bernardino Conrao. 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gualeguaychú fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tosquitas AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
