Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Candido Milian got the match started through his kick off. Americo Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Odon got free with Carlos Cruz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Celio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Nikola in the 13th minute of play forced Castellanos's goalkeeper Aquiles Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Higinio Mambru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castellanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal the free kick. The supporters of Barreal booed when Castellanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Barreal's Ariel Nikola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Todor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Modesto Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Barreal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Odon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Cruz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 36th minute, Pascual Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Castellanos's Carlos Cruz threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Candido Milian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Candido Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Nikola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The excitement rose when Castellanos's Wilfredo Efraim after 78 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Barreal's goalkeeper to hold. In the 83rd minute, Wilfredo Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Castellanos's goalkeeper Aquiles Todor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Belo. Ariel Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Odon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Cruz having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Candido Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barreal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castellanos.
