Jorge Txordon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Saul Sal made a huge save. Cuevas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristobal Mark 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cuevas's zone, Cristobal Mark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Sal came out of the goal and Cristobal Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Txordons short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Saul Sal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Fernan Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Saul Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Txordon in the 58th minute of play. Cuevas's Salvador Jago got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
