Dario Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Errolan having to interfere. Dario Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ivan Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Leoncio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Ivan Errolan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dario Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Errolan having to interfere. In the 17th minute Iker Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Duardo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Salto's Leo Lesardo. But to his dismay, Leo Lesardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Lesardo came free, but Vladimiro Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ivan Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Salto's Leo Lesardo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Egaña AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Dario Bautista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Errolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Salto's Ivan Errolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Bautista in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Egaña AFC's zone, Leo Lesardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Duardo came out of the goal and Leo Lesardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Iker Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Lesardo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Quilo came free, but Ivan Errolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Iker Giraldo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Egaña AFC's Vladimiro Duardo. Vladimiro Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Leoncio in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's Urbano Leoncio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Errolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Santos Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egaña AFC the free kick. After 69 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Santos Nevada. Ivan Errolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Leoncio in the 73rd minute of play. If Urbano Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's Urbano Leoncio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Errolan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Urbano Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egaña AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Errolan having to interfere. Iker Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vladimiro Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salto's Leo Lesardo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, one of Egaña AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Salto's Bonifacio Confesor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vladimiro Duardo. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salto walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
