Urbano Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Marcial Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egaña AFC. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Dario Bautista put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcial Bento. 10 minutes into the match, Egaña AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Asur came free, but Vladimiro Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tinoco's Anier Asur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vladimiro Duardo. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Victorino Handi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Asur in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Dario Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Bento. Tinoco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Vladimiro Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Asur in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Egaña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Donzel to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Gaspar Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tinoco's Anier Asur got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Dario Bautista rounded Tinoco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Marcial Bento didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Egaña AFC's Vladimiro Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Asur in the 89th minute of play.
