Zeledon Sandaili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Lauren went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Asturias FC's Alejandro Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Eli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Asturias FC's Julian Marques shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Zeledon Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio James's late challenge caught a Asturias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Hugo Lauren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Sandaili was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Asturias FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Chorache. After a defensive mix-up in Asturias FC's zone, Hugo Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Sandaili came out of the goal and Hugo Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Asturias FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Angelo Bilintx hit a great ball. Nicolas Eladio, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Lauren in the 69th minute of play forced Asturias FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Quin charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 82nd minute, Efrain Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84thth minute of the game Julian Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charaday AFC's Gaspar Eli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Asturias FC's Julian Marques made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Eli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Bilintx charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Bilintx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
