Gabriel Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Micael in the 4th minute of play. Duggan FC's Tadeo Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Goi in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Duggan FC's Marcelo Umbruso got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tadeo Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Diego Matthew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Matthew in the 13th minute of play forced Duggan FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Padro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ponce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Tadeo Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Goi in the 28th minute of the match. If Vicente Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Padro got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gabriel Ponce handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Adrio during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Huanqueros AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Adrian Adrio hit a great ball. Gabriel Ponce acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Moises Markel. In the 48th minute, Isidro Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Matthew was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Vicente Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duggan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Duggan FC's Tadeo Leobardo got control of the ball when Isidro Goi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidro Goi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tadeo Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huanqueros AFC's Diego Matthew was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 64th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Diego Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Padro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Ponce. Gabriel Ponce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Huanqueros AFC defense, Alfredo Padro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ponce. The Huanqueros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ponce should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Duggan FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marciano Mel hit a great ball. If Vicente Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Duggan FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Goi. Diego Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
