Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Bibiano started the match with the kick off. Delmar Lano was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Silverio Beti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silverio Beti really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Salvador Lixandro from a close distance when the talented Delmar Lano managed to make a qualified save. Concepción's players were relieved. Delmar Lano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Silverio Beti sent off a good shot on target. When Salvador Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Malbrán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Lixandro couldn't finish the play. Silverio Beti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Lano having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Concepción's goalkeeper Delmar Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Lixandro. The supporters of Concepción booed when Malbrán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Dante Frantzes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Procopio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Concepción's Delmar Lano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Concepción from getting a goal against them. Silverio Beti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Malbrán's Salvador Lixandro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Lixandros short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Delmar Lano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Astor Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Procopio having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Eliseo Gartzen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malbrán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepción the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Beti was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Silverio Beti sped through Concepción's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmar Lano. 63 minutes into the match, Malbrán's Salvador Lixandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmar Lano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 68 minutes, Astor Bibiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Bibiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Malbrán's Jacinto Beremundo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jacinto Beremundo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Malbrán protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jacinto Beremundo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 85th minute, Bernardo Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play, Malbrán's Salvador Lixandro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Justo Koldobika made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Procopio. Malbrán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 93 minutes, Silverio Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malbrán and the Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. Malbrán's Romeo Procopio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Malbrán from getting a goal against them.
