A collision led to Ranchos AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dionisio Garci hit a great ball. If Maximiliano Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ranchos AFC booed when Jagüé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jagüé AFC's zone, Dionisio Garci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Baraquiel came out of the goal and Dionisio Garci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Maximiliano Oihenarte got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 38 minutes into the game, Ranchos AFC's Dionisio Garci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Baraquiel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jagüé AFC's Rodrigo Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Oihenarte in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Ranchos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Salvadore came free, but Leonel Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Oihenarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rodrigo Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Oihenarte in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Maximiliano Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Baraquiel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 59th minute, Eloy Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Bidari in the 60th minute of play forced Ranchos AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Salvadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Leonel Janpier made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Saturnino Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranchos AFC and the Jagüé AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Garci in the 67th minute of play. Jacobo Salvadore struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Leonel Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagüé AFC. In the 93rd match minute, Jagüé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ranchos AFC's Dionisio Garci got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ranchos AFC had won after a very even match.
