In the 16thth minute of the game Delmiro Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Florentino Ixidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albano Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Ixidor having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Casares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Llorian to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes, Palpalá's Blas Vela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florentino Ixidor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palpalá reached it. In the 32ndth minute of the game Delmiro Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Florentino Ixidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Casares defense, Albano Mikeldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Ixidor. The Casares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Ixidor should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Casares's Serafin Llorian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Larra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the game, Cipriano Mendebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palpalá the free kick. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cipriano Mendebal hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Rolando Onofre fired a really elegant long shot, but Florentino Ixidor threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a rather tough play, Casares's Marco Nalo got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Delmiro Berart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Ixidor. Casares's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Berart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Albano Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marco Nalo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casares's protests and gave Marco Nalo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Casares getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marco Nalo hit a great ball. Albano Mikeldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Florentino Ixidor made a huge save. Victor Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gualterio Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Casares booed when Palpalá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Victor Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palpalá walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
