Aureliano Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Garcia having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Petronila FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Hever. Petronila FC's Nicanor Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Bernebe in the 12th minute of play. Aureliano Bernebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nicanor Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Furtado in the 24th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Bernebe in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Garcia saved Petronila FC from getting behind. Tomás Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Aureliano Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Mussi's goalkeeper Guillermo Johans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Misael. A collision led to Petronila FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nicanor Bastiaro hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Simon Dalmu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Garcia skillfully saved the ball. Nicanor Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Aureliano Bernebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Dolfo made a kick off. Casimiro Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Clemente Juvenal charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Petronila FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Guillermo Johans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Casimiro Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Petronila FC defense, Israel Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicanor Garcia. The Petronila FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicanor Garcia should have stopped the shot. If Casimiro Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Johans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Miguel Misael struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Guillermo Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petronila FC. The supporters of Petronila FC booed when Mussi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
