Severino Mercurio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lavalle AFC booed when Ostende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ostende FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Tiso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Donzel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Tiso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
