Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Ferrando started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos FC's Nicanor Teofilio got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Ombucta FC's Leonardo Ferrando, in the 4th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ombucta FC. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos FC's Generoso Xacintu got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th match minute, Potrerillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lehen to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jaime Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Leonardo Ferrando notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Potrerillos FC's Jaime Sandalio. Jaime Sandalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leonardo Ferrando came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ombucta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Ferrando couldn't finish the play. David Oihenarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Sandalio having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Santos Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Humberto Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Gorosti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute David Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potrerillos FC's Jaime Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Ferrando in the 37th minute of play. Jaime Sandalio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Ferrando's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Santos Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Humberto Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 59 minutes, Leonardo Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombucta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Ferrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Leonardo Ferrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ombucta FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Potrerillos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Lore took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Dabi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, David Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ombucta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Oihenarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Sandalio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jaime Sandalio made a huge save. After 78th play minutes Santos Liher shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Filomeno Barros and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Humberto Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Gorosti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Liher in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Santos Liher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filomeno Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potrerillos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ombucta FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
