Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto James in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Ursino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute Marciano Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trenel's Claudio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Lia in the 10th minute of play. When Rogelio Jesco fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trenel's protests and gave Rogelio Jesco a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Jesco hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Pastor Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pastor Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Canchicot AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Raymond couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Lia was the one to do the kick off. The goalkeeper, German Ursino, was totally fooled by Trenel's Baldomero Ereinotz, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 95th minute, Julio Poz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trenel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
