Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Apolo Policarpio started the match with the kick off. Martin Ibon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Policarpio in the 7th minute of play forced Mixto's goalkeeper Fausto Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Martin Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trenel's Claudio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ibon in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mixto's zone, Apolo Policarpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Ezkerra came out of the goal and Apolo Policarpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Julio Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Trenel's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Ibon came free, but Claudio Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trenel's Claudio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ibon in the 19th minute of play. During the 24th minute of the match Julio Poz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Julio Poz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Trenel's Julio Poz got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Mixto got a corner. Trenel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascual Arotza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ibon in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Mixto booed when Trenel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Mixto's Fulgencio Kimetz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Elija was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mixto booed when Trenel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ezkerra having to interfere. Fausto Ezkerra made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ruperto James sent off a good shot on target. The Trenel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mixto were winning 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Gustavo Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fulgencio Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fausto Ezkerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tomás Cordaro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mixto's protests and gave Tomás Cordaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Mixto got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Cordaro. 66 minutes into the game, Rogelio Jesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trenel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mixto the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Fulgencio Kimetz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claudio Elija didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Fulgencio Kimetz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Claudio Elija firmly grabbed it by the left post. Trenel's Claudio Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ibon in the 79th minute of play.
