The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Ancajuli FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dolores:s goal. The referee gave Dolores a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guaberto Bento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ancajuli FC's Gabriel Caetano. 0-1. Eliseo Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gabriel Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dolores's Ramiro Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ancajuli FC's Gabriel Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Azibar in the 24th minute of play. Gabriel Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Gaizkine in the 25th minute of the match. Eliseo Azibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ancajuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Dolores's Guaberto Bento tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pablo Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paulino Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Dolores were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Olentzaro to make the kick off. Rene Olentzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Eliseo Azibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Azibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Azibar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Caetano having to make a save. When Dolores's Ramiro Gaizkine in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancajuli FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Eliseo Azibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Dolores got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Hernando. After having played for 69 minutes, Ramiro Gaizkine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Gaizkine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Eliseo Azibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Caetano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Azibar in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Rene Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancajuli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Olentzaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Dolores supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dolores would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
