The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Huanchillas AFC's Sergio Quilo got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Doyhenard FC booed when Huanchillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tobias Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Atarrabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Remicio in the 16th minute. Doyhenard FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Huanchillas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Fidencio took the corner. Ramiro Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Huanchillas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Luix to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ramiro Remicio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doyhenard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Remicio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Atarrabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 43rd minute of the match, Roberto Gerazan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucas Atarrabi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ramiro Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lucas Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Roberto Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Colon to make the kick off. Lucas Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Remicio in the 52nd minute of play. Maximo Eufemio charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Eufemio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximo Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Cayetano Beat was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ildefonso Hegoi. In the 61st minute, Ramiro Remicio made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Atarrabi. Huanchillas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 69 played minutes Doyhenard FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Edorta. 70 minutes into the match, Huanchillas AFC's Dante Hermelando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Sergio Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanchillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Quilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Huanchillas AFC's Tobias Colon in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cayetano Beat was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Doyhenard FC through an amazing save. Doyhenard FC's Ramiro Remicio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Remicio in the 81st minute of play forced Huanchillas AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Beat having to interfere. Tobias Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Beat having to interfere. A collision led to Doyhenard FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Manuel Inko hit a great ball. Huanchillas AFC's Dante Hermelando couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Doyhenard FC. Honorato Prejun kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Sergio Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Cayetano Beat made a huge save. Roberto Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucas Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doyhenard FC had won after a very even match.
