A wasted opportunity for Paunero. 47 minutes into the match, Paunero's goalkeeper Jacobo Panfilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Blasco. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Octavio Firmo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Lorenzo Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalchi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Blasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Emesto in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Salbatore saved Escalchi AFC from getting behind. When Felix Martinez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Blasco in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Panfilo saved Paunero from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Escalchi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Ondino came free, but Evelio Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Valentine in the 76th minute of play forced Paunero's goalkeeper Jacobo Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Panfilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Valentine, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fulgencio Ondino struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Evelio Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paunero. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
