Rigoberto Eliu started the match with the kick off. Mauricio Bazil charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amador Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Olain AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Eliu came free, but Amador Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roberto Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Formosa AFC's Ramiro Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Fagildo in the 19th minute of play. Matias Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ramiro Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Formosa AFC's zone, Ismael Fagildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Tajo came out of the goal and Ismael Fagildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ismael Fagildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Edwardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Edwardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Precioso in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Olain AFC booed when Formosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Carlos Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Fagildo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Olain AFC were awarded a corner. Venancio Quilino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ismael Fagildo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Ismael Fagildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Precioso's late challenge caught a Olain AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Precioso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Formosa AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cecilio Precioso hit a great ball. Venancio Quilino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Rocio in the 64th minute of play forced Formosa AFC's goalkeeper Ramiro Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Fagildo in the 67th minute of the match. If Ismael Fagildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Bento having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Eliu in the 76th minute of play forced Olain AFC's goalkeeper Amador Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ismael Fagildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Edwardo got free with Amador Bento in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Rigoberto Eliu in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Cecilio Precioso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Cecilio Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Olain AFC's zone, Roberto Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Bento came out of the goal and Roberto Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Eliu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
