Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Criston took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martin Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Denis Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Garrayalde's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Lico came free, but Ambrosio Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martin Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Jerrold having to interfere. Teofilo Gaitan took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Jerrold. Denis Jerrold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Garrayalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Matteo to maneuver through the defense. If Salvador Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes, Salto FC's Edgard Rius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ambrosio Urbez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salto FC reached it. A collision led to Garrayalde getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Casimiro Lertxun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Lico in the 38th minute of play forced Garrayalde's goalkeeper Ambrosio Urbez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Patricio Marz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ambrosio Urbez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Colon to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teofilo Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Martin Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrayalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Jerrold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Edgard Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Joaquin Leoiar missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 75 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Denis Jerrold right hand side. If Teofilo Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Teofilo Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garrayalde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Martin Criston came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Garrayalde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Criston couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Urbez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Colon in the 89th minute of play. If Fausto Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
