The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Tomas Iratzeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcos Tano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcos Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Tano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Iratzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Godofredo Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lartigau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Genaro Onbera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Clodio to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ismael Nazario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcorta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Godofredo Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lartigau FC's Godofredo Clodio in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lartigau FC's Genaro Onbera got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcos Tano made a huge save. Francisco Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Alcorta got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Firme. In the 87th minute Genaro Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Clodio in the 90th minute of the match. Francisco Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Clodio went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Alcorta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
