Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rigoberto Hori took the kick off in the first half of the match. Silvio Errolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Matias Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Guillerme hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Escalante got a corner. Alsa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Gregory ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Escalante's Efrain Eneko to fire away a dangerous shot which Victoriano Jago despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Rigoberto Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Gregory lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Alsa. Ubaldo Primo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matias Arias. 0-1. When Cristo Ladio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsa's protests and gave Cristo Ladio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Escalante booed when Alsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alsa's Victoriano Jago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Alsa from getting a goal against them. After 24 played minutes Alsa got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Ladio. When Justo Guillerme fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsa's protests and gave Justo Guillerme a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Alsa got a freekick which was hit by Justo Guillerme. The audience was convinced that Silvio Errolan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Arias was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Vigil to make the kick off. Gualterio Viator hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Escalante's Aldo Abarca in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Aureliano Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Jago having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Hotz in the 69th minute of play forced Alsa's goalkeeper Victoriano Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Vigil took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Jago. Victoriano Jago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rigoberto Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Arias having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Escalante's Jeremias Jenaro got a free kick in the 79th minute. Rigoberto Hori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Arias having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, Modesto Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escalante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsa the free kick. Modesto Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes Escalante's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ubaldo Primo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Alsa's corner Ubaldo Primo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matias Arias quite easily take care of the ball. Victoriano Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Vigil in the 96th minute of play. Alsa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
