The Alsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Jago should have stopped the shot. Cristobal Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Victoriano Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Etxekopar in the 23rd minute of play. After 29 played minutes Alsa got a freekick which was hit by Justo Guillerme. 30 minutes into the match, Alpachiri FC's Isidoro Rico broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bernardo Sidro's late challenge caught a Alsa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Sidro helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Primo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Flavio Cilio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpachiri FC's protests and gave Flavio Cilio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alpachiri FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Flavio Cilio hit a great ball. During the 35th minute of the match Flavio Cilio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flavio Cilio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Alpachiri FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Flavio Cilio hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Alsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Etxekopar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Victoriano Jago managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Alpachiri FC's Pascual Etxekopar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fausto Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpachiri FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Esiquio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Jago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Etxekopar in the 65th minute. Cristo Ladio struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Esteve Gaztea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsa. In the 78th minute of the match Alpachiri FC got a corner. Alsa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidoro Rico ran over to the corner to take the kick. Isidoro Rico made a great header on Alpachiri FC's corner, it was just that Alsa's Victoriano Jago managed to reach the ball for a save. Pascual Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Jago having to interfere. Victoriano Jago made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Pascual Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. If Rigoberto Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Errolan in the 85th minute of play forced Alpachiri FC's goalkeeper Esteve Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alsa's Silvio Errolan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteve Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Hori in the 92nd minute of play. The Alpachiri FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alpachiri FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
