Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Desiderio Gil started the match with the kick off. If Fulgencio Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Desiderio Gil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomás Abajas, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cayetano Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Peruxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Gil in the 19th minute of the match. Tomás Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Ignacio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Ignacio Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calzada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tomás Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulgencio Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Ignacio Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calzada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Calzada FC's Pascual Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calzada FC's Pascual Canor managed to work through Sarmiento FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Pascual Canor dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Pascual Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Librado hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ruperto Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Haritz in the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Haritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Jacob was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cayetano Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ignacio Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calzada FC's Tomás Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Peruxu in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Calzada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Sabin to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Calzada FC's Ignacio Haritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Jacob made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Peruxu in the 78th minute of play forced Calzada FC's goalkeeper Tomás Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Sarmiento FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Guifre. Ignacio Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ruperto Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sarmiento FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fulgencio Guifre hit a great ball. The Calzada FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calzada FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
