The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Sotero got free with Generoso Sidoro in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Zuriyaco's corner Emanuel Macerio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Generoso Sidoro quite easily take care of the ball. Rodolfo Bixintxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Sidoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Bixintxo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilberto Dolcet's late challenge caught a Zuriyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Dolcet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, one of Cejolao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cejolao. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Zuriyaco. Emanuel Macerio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Generoso Sidoro. 1-0. Cejolao's Generoso Sidoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Cejolao from getting a goal against them. In the 35th match minute, Cejolao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Bingen to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th match minute, Cejolao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Thomas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Martinez in the 43rd minute of play forced Zuriyaco's goalkeeper Nunez Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Tomas Kepas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nunez Urre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 79 minutes into the match, Zuriyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Martinez came free, but Nunez Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zuriyaco's goalkeeper Nunez Urre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gogo Martinez struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Nunez Urre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cejolao. In the 94th minute, Rodolfo Bixintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zuriyaco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
