Serafino Panpili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. The tension between the Fraga AFC and the Joyango FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Joyango FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lázaro Costante, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fraga AFC's Julian Rosario. 0-1. Julian Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Serafino Panpili made a huge save. Artemio Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Serafino Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Mauro Eduino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joyango FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 28 played minutes Fraga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Silvino. In the 29th minute of the match Lázaro Costante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Rosario skillfully saved the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. When Tomas Balasi fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joyango FC's protests and gave Tomas Balasi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fraga AFC booed when Joyango FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Joyango FC's Mauro Eduino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joyango FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
