In the 13thth minute of the game Emiliano Bakar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palavicini AFC's Silvano Tauro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Edelmiro Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Enzo Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Palavicini AFC's Edelmiro Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Orlanda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Celedonio Chucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Osasun struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Enzo Orlanda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palavicini AFC. In the 41st minute, Bernal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Remir fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Enzo Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Osasun in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Emiliano Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edelmiro Osasun came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Palavicini AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Osasun couldn't finish the play. After the first half Bernal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Osasun was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Orlanda didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Palavicini AFC's Edelmiro Osasun shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Remir in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Orlanda saved Bernal from getting behind. After having played for 62 minutes, Edelmiro Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palavicini AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enzo Orlanda came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palavicini AFC's Jacinto Remir. But to his dismay, Jacinto Remir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 67 minutes into the game, Venancio Jakobe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palavicini AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bernal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Palavicini AFC a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Simon Karmel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bernal's Enzo Orlanda. 3-2. 73 minutes into the match, Bernal's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Remir came free, but Enzo Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Palavicini AFC's Silvano Tauro got control of the ball when Emiliano Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bernal's Celedonio Chucho in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palavicini AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes, Edelmiro Osasun made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bernal's Enzo Orlanda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Palavicini AFC's Jacinto Remir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Orlanda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2.
