When Baldomiro Intxixu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hurlingham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Intxixu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Baldomiro Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurlingham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anacleto Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Celedonio Chucho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Baldomiro Intxixu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enzo Orlanda having to make a save. If Baldomiro Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Erasmo Santos made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Bernal's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Goito came free, but Enzo Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Bernal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Orlanda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurlingham AFC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bernal had won after a very even match.
