To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Vergaray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Hermon in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute of the match Pastor Jaen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Mingo skillfully saved the ball.
