Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cienaguillas FC's Godofredo Sasoin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Godofredo Sasoin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Sasoin in the 7th minute of play forced Cafayate's goalkeeper Fermin Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Amato hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Cienaguillas FC's Marcelo Servando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Godofredo Sasoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Sidro having to interfere. Eustacio Oskitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Amato in the 18th minute of play. Cienaguillas FC's Eustacio Oskitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Canor in the 21st minute of play. Fermin Sidro came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cienaguillas FC's Siro Benvido. But to his dismay, Siro Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fermin Sidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Sasoin's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Leo Canor lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Eustacio Oskitz. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Siro Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguillas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Benvido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Cidro might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Oskitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amador Cidro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40thth minute of the game Leo Canor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cienaguillas FC's Eustacio Oskitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cienaguillas FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Oskitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 50 minutes, Amador Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafayate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Cidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Canor was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Sasoin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Cafayate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cafayate's Fermin Sidro got control of the ball when Siro Benvido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Segundo Locaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustacio Oskitz. Cienaguillas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Macias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Sasoin in the 69th minute of play forced Cafayate's goalkeeper Fermin Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafayate's Fermin Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Sasoin in the 70th minute of play. When Leo Canor came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cafayate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Canor couldn't finish the play. If Amador Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cienaguillas FC's Eustacio Oskitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Canor in the 92nd minute of play. Eustacio Oskitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Amato went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Cienaguillas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cienaguillas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
